One line design of a face - about me page link

Hi, my name is Jessica Jacqmarcq.

Coming from Normandy, I moved to Berlin during my final internship in 2015. After completing my degree in film production, I worked on movie sets in Germany for a while. Three years later, I decided to change my career path to pursue a healthier one. I became a physiotherapist.

I’d considered launching Stage Physio long ago, when I still was studying to become a physiotherapist. Back then, I’d spend my evenings dancing, trying different styles each day, and falling in love with the art. It was evident to me that dance was a world where a physiotherapist could make a real difference. I understood the dancers’ connection to their bodies because I felt it too.

During my various dance classes, I got to know many people. We’d often talk about injuries and the challenge of finding a physiotherapist who truly understood their unique needs. That’s when I made up my mind to become the physiotherapist they were looking for.

After completing my physiotherapy school, I went deeper into the specific requirements of dancers and performing artists in general. I dug into evidence-based studies in Performing Arts Medicine, pursued additional education with organizations like PAMA and Ta.med and finally set out to assist performing artists in their journey to well-being.
